Kirchhoff's law (KVL & KCL)
Gastab Robert Kirchhoff (1882-1887), a German physicist, stated two basic laws in 1847 concerning the relationship between the current and voltage in electrical networks.
Kirchhoff's law is two. namely-
1) Kirchhoff's current law (KCL)
2) Kirchhoff's voltage law (KVL)
1) Kirchhoff's current law (KCL):
The algebraic sum of the currents at any node or junction of an electrical network is zero or the incoming current at that node or junction is equal to the outgoing current; That is, incoming current is outgoing current.
2) Kirchhoff's voltage law (KVL):
Any closed circuit of an electrical network
Algebraic sum of all E.M.F and Voltage drops of mesh or loop is zero.
